Vegan Cook Along

Welcome all women and non-binary people who identify as LGBTQ. 

Join this Sunday vegan cook along with Melissa, an amateur chef who has been spending most of lockdown testing new vegan recipes and eating like a queen. She will be cooking a simple yet completely delicious meal that won’t break the bank. She has chosen a main and a dessert perfect to be devoured solo or to impress your friends. All cooking abilities welcome!

Tickets are £4, and just make sure you have the ingredients below. If you are allergic to anything, please feel free to substitute. I have used vegan ingredients but if you want to use dairy, feel free. 

Ingredients:

Conchiglie with yoghurt, peas and spicy pine nut oil

  • 1 pot of soy/any vegan yogurt

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • Pack of pine nuts

  • Pack of basil

  • 2 teaspoons chilli flakes

  • Bag of frozen peas

  • Conchiglie pasta (normally around 100g per person)

  • Salt, pepper, oil

  • Optional: vegan feta

Vegan peanut butter cookies

  • 150g crunchy peanut butter

  • 4 tablespoons almond/oat milk

  • 60g plain flour

  • 100g sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp baking soda

This event will take place on Zoom online. The Zoom link will be sent to ticket holders the day before the event.
