Queer Spoken Word Writing Workshop (In Person, London)

Join Sappho Events for an inspiring evening of writing and sharing queer spoken word poetry.

The writing workshop will entail writing prompts and techniques across the hour to help you produce a new piece of writing. We will then share some of our work afterwards in a safe space! Perfect for those trying spoken word for the first time, or those wanting to get back into the habit of writing.

Date: Monday 26 June, 7pm start

Location: The Glitch, 134 Lower Marsh, London, SE1 7AE (a five minute walk from Waterloo station)

Price: £10 (please book in advance as we have caps on numbers)

Accessibility: The upstairs venue and toilets are wheelchair accessible, but this event is downstairs, which is currently only accessible via a flight of stairs, and there is unfortunately no lift.

Sappho Events welcomes LGBTQIA+ women, trans and non-binary people to our events
