Self-Portrait Workshop

SELF PORTRAIT WORKSHOP (1).png

The team who brought you our Tarot Workshop is back!

Immersive theatre project 'Find me, Fool' will delve into how we can tell our stories through portraits in an online Self Portrait Workshop on Thursday 13 May 7:30-9pm.

They will introduce you to using light, objects, space and your own body to capture different facets of your self - exploring how we can make the invisible visible.

We will explore capturing self portraits, and then how we might layer these images using digital and physical collage.

No experience necessary - just bring along:

- something to take photos (your phone camera is fine!)

- some potential collage materials: newspaper cuttings, receipts, shopping lists, diary pages, photos (of you, if possible!)

-scissors

The workshop will be led by Verity Gosden and Alanna Gow. Verity is a disciplinary artist, who uses photography and lighting as the principle tools of her practise. Alanna is a filmmaker and graphic designer, working on ways of bringing anthropology and perception into her art making. Follow them on instagram @v._.v_go and @alanna_hg

Follow 'Find me, Fool' on instagram and twitter @findme_fool to find out more about our immersive queer dreamworld inspired by the tarot, and to learn about their portrait project.
