Calling all queer book-lovers - join us for an evening of sapphic bookish chats!
Every month, we will be reading a new piece of sapphic literature and coming together at @glasshouselondon to discuss over a cuppa or mocktail with the Sappho Events community.

ABOUT ROSIE WILBY
Rosie Wilby is an award-winning comedian, author and podcaster who has appeared many times on BBC Radio 4 programmes including Woman's Hour, Saturday Live and Four Thought. She was also the cohost of much-loved LGBTQ radio magazine show Radio Diva from 2016-2019.
Her first book Is Monogamy Dead? was longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize and followed a trilogy of solo shows investigating the psychology of love and relationships.
Her new book The Breakup Monologues is based on her acclaimed podcast of the same name and is published globally by Bloomsbury. It has been described as ‘witty, wise and wonderful’ by The Observer, a ‘gem of a book’ by Red Magazine and ‘brilliantly wise’ by Psychologies.
The book was inspired when Rosie was once dumped by email. She did, however, feel much better after correcting her ex-partner’s spelling.
What follows is a love letter to her breakups, a celebration of what they have taught her peppered with anecdotes from illustrious friends and interviews with relationship therapists, scientists and sociologists about separating in the modern age of ghosting, breadcrumbing and conscious uncoupling.
Mixing humour, memoir and science, she attempts to assimilate their advice and ideas in order to not break up with her partner Girlfriend. Will this self-confessed serial monogamist, and breakup addict, finally settle down?
